The mechanics

How BandBunk Works

01

Create Your Account

Sign up as a Host (you have space to offer), an Artist (you need somewhere to crash), or both. Artists must link at least one social or music profile — Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Bandcamp, or Spotify — so hosts can see you're a real band.

02

Hosts Post Their Space

If you're a fan with a spare sofa, room, floor, or garage, post it. Set your listing type, add a description, amenities, and a price — minimum £10 per night. You decide how many guests and how many nights.

Artists Request a Bunk

Browse or search by town/city. Find a listing near your gig. When you request, you must supply: your band name, the venue you're playing, the gig date, and a link to your event listing (Facebook event, Eventbrite, Instagram post — anything that verifies you're really playing).

This is non-negotiable. Hosts need to know you're genuine before they open their front door.

04

Host Reviews & Confirms

The host gets an email with your gig details and social link. They verify you're real, then confirm or decline. Once confirmed, you get the full address and payment is processed through Stripe.

05

You Play. You Sleep. You Leave Reviews.

After the stay, both sides rate each other. Hosts rate the band (did they respect the space?). Artists rate the host (was the sofa what was advertised? Did the kettle work?). Reviews are public and permanent — the community polices itself.

The £10 Rule

Every stay is a minimum of £10 per night. In return, the host provides at the very minimum: a safe place to sleep, a mug of tea or coffee, and a slice of toast in the morning. Hosts can charge more if they offer more. This isn't a charity — it's a community with standards.
